ReadWriteThink.org – Now Aligned to the Common Core State Standards!
Lesson plans on ReadWriteThink.org have always been based on the NCTE/IRA Standards for the English Language Arts. In 2009, lesson plans on the site also became aligned to individual state standards. Now in 2013, when applicable, lesson plans on ReadWriteThink.org have been aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). These alignments are provided courtesy of a collaborative project between Verizon Thinkfinity and EdGate and are revised on a regular basis as new or updated standards become available.
