Read write think has been such a wonderful resource for me throughout my teaching career. At the college level, I take the lessons and printouts and adapt them for my students. I love that the lessons are based on reading theory. With RWT lessons, I know my students are using the strategies that are based on recent reading research.
Jessica Jefferis is a member of the Reading Faculty at Bucks County Community College. She teaches College Reading to incoming Freshmen. Jessica received a BA in English from Boston College, an Elementary Teaching Certification from Rider University and a Master’s of Education with Reading Specialist Certification from Holy Family University. Jessica’s previous teaching experience was in a 5th grade classroom. Jessica loves teaching college students and seeing them improve their reading skills over the course of a semester.
