"ReadWriteThink gives a quick resource when needed, that is research-based and peer-reviewed. It is a valuable site for pre-service and current teachers."
After many years researching self-selection and independent readers, Jessica continues to see the importance of having a daily, uninterrupted independent reading time. She shares this belief with her undergrad students, as well. She continues to learn daily from her own first graders and other teachers that she works alongside.
