"I have really enjoyed taking ideas from my book and seeing them come alive on the ReadWriteThink site!"
With twenty years of teaching experience at the high school and college levels, in the classroom and online, Laura is an educator committed to engaging students in authentic research and original thinking. She believes in approaching research and learning tasks as syntheses of complex ideas rather than paths toward oversimplified conclusions.
She teaches composition, critical thinking, and research courses at New York University and literature, film, and creative writing courses at West Milford High School (New Jersey).
Laura is the author of the NCTE publication Preventing Plagiarism: Tips and Techniques. She also composes absurdist drama, having staged a farce and an historical drama.
