ReadWriteThink has allowed me to incorporate researched based strategies and activities into my classroom which helps my students grow as readers and writers.
Stephanie Laird has a bachelorís degree in elementary education, and a masterís degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University. She is a Title 1 teacher at Mitchellville Elementary, where she co-teaches 4th and 5th grade reading and mathematics. †Both grades are 1:1, with 4th grade using Chromebooks, and 5th grade using MacBooks.† Stephanie enjoys watching her students grow as learners as they create and apply their understanding of math and reading concepts using these technology tools.
Stephanie is a member of the International Reading Association, the Iowa Reading Association, and other professional organizations.
