Summer is a time of fun in the sun - but a dangerous hazard lurks in the shadows: the infamous summer slide!
Summer slide is the term used to describe the academic loss that kids suffer as they take a break from school during the summer months. But fear not, ReadWriteThink.org can help make your child's time off school filled with reading and writing opportunities that are both educational and fun.
Join us in participating in our Bright Ideas for Summer campaign.
Have your kids work on these recommended activities over the summer and then post their finished work in our Thinkfinity Community space. Check in often to see countless examples of kids showing off their great work and avoiding the harmful effects of the summer slide!
