This is a great idea. Did you have to get permission for students to create their own email accounts? Also, agree with Gail that the rubric scores are reversed.

This is a super lesson plan/idea; however, I went to the saidthegramophone.com blog, and I encountered foul language of the f-bomb variety. This just reminds me that we must always check and update our online sources for appropriateness. Also, the rubric scores need to be reversed, I think. It seems they are in opposite order.
Thanks for the great lesson idea. I plan to incorporate it into my unit on "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
