Thank you so much for posting this lesson plan, I adapted it for my class, and will be trying it out tomorrow. I wanted to let you know about another book that features note writing that I will be using tomorrow for this lesson, "Officer Buckle and Gloria". If you don't know this book, I highly recommend that you get your hands on a copy and read it right away. It's a hilarious story and the kids love it. Thanks again! Betsy
