| 1. | Make overhead transparencies of the following materials: a. Interactive Student Contract b. Literature Response Activities (negotiable items) c. SSR Extension Activities (nonnegotiable items) d. Reading Log |
| 2. | Review the RubiStar website and develop a rubric for each of the negotiable and non-negotiable activities. Make these rubrics accessible to students while selecting their activities for their Student Contract. |
| 3. | Reserve class time in the computer lab and make sure that the interactive Student Contract is bookmarked on all machines. If the computer lab is unavailable, print out the Student Contract and make one copy for each student. |
