Can Letters Tell a Story?
Many books use letters written between characters as a way of telling an up-close and personal story. In this activity, children will read Clueless McGee and then use the interactive Letter Generator tool to craft a story through a letter.
Even in a world of text messages, it’s still important to know how to write a basic letter. Letters can be formal or informal, but they all have common elements: heading, salutation, body, and closing. In addition, children can try their hand at telling a story through writing letters.
