There is not a week that goes by that I do not consult the ReadWriteThink website for resources that I know I can count on, resources that are not only embedded in best practices, but that also meet local and national standards.
Jennifer Estabrook has been an English teacher at the James F. Doughty Middle School in Bangor, Maine since 1998. Prior to that, she was a children’s bookseller. She received a B.A. degree in English from Colby College and an M.Ed in Adolescent Literacy from the University of Maine, Orono. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is a Teacher Consultant for the Maine Writing Project and has recently contributed to the National Writing Project’s Digital Is website. Her special interests include digital literacy and young adult literature.
